Pope Francis and the media en route from World Youth Day

 

By all accounts, it seems that Pope Francis had a successful World Youth Day 2013 in Brazil. On his return flight to Italy, His Holiness, visited with the press corps flying with him. Unfortunately, he wavered from his “I give no interviews” policy. The secular media has reported partially correct and incomplete responses that the Holy Father made to questions posed to him. Just as sad,  some correspondents have attempted to foster the “bad Benedict – good Francis” mindset.
