The story of Martha and Mary is one that continues to inspire me. When Our Lord came to visit His friends, Martha, Mary and their brother, Lazarus, Martha wanted to insure that their Divine Guest was well-received. She was working hard performing the many tasks a good hostess does to insure that guests are comfortable. Suddenly, she notices that her sister Mary is sitting at Our Lord’s feet listening to Him while she’s running around getting stressed over the details – yes, feeling overwhelmed.
